🇫🇷 Grenoble 10/10

“Must get either a m reso (unlimited PT card) or m velo (govt subsidised rental bike) to get around. Trams and busses were very regular and easy to navigate. Register for CAF early as the administration takes ages and follow up if you haven’t heard back in a while because they won’t let you know if there’s an error in your application. Explore the nature - go skiing, hiking, climbing, bussing to lookouts, whatever your thing is.”

🇲🇽 Monterrey 10/10

“Monterrey can feel a little boring if you don't take the opportunity to travel, especially because the weather can be quite unpredictable. However, the city itself has some great places to explore, particularly Barrio Antiguo, which is one of the liveliest and most charming areas. If you are living in San Pedro or La Fama, I also recommend spending time in downtown San Pedro. Every Sunday, there is a local market that is definitely worth visiting. Keep in mind that getting to downtown Monterrey can become expensive over time, especially if you rely on Uber, as the distance is quite long and traffic is often heavy.”

🇲🇽 Guadalajara 10/10

“Transport is horrible safety is better than what people think it would be although take Uber at night obviously food not as inexpensive as you might think you have to go to Tianguis and eat street food There’s always events in Guadalajara just be prepared for it to be different people are quite nice not all but they are helpful”

🇰🇷 Seoul 9/10

“Transportation costs are a bit expensive (about 35€ per month for access to the whole public transportation system in Seoul) but worth it. You need cash for it though. Going out to eat and party is way cheaper than in Europe so you should be enjoy going out as much as possible. The city is super safe although you should always be careful when you go out, especially at night in clubs or bars. The weather is very humid and it rains a bit more on average if you go during spring. Most of living expenses such as bedsheets, umbrellas, cleaning materials, etc can be bought for cheaper in Seoul so don’t bother taking them in your suitcase. And if you can, I would recommend taking two suitcases because you are likely to bring stuff home that you bought in Seoul (gifts, more clothes, etc)”

“Public transport is a bit expensive but if you get a secondhand bike it will be worth it! Weekends are quite and for recovery as weekdays can be busy with uni and nights out”

🇲🇽 Mexico City 9/10

“The accomodations are super expensive but the overall cost of living is quite okay. You need to get ready for the traffic that is HUGE, the weather that is super nice and the size of the city (x14 Paris 🤓)”
