Adèle

🇫🇷 Paris 10/10

“Metro is a fantastic service. Would not recommend going around alone at night as a woman. Typically expensive in terms of groceries and cafes etc. but there is so much choice”

Gráinne

DeVinci Higher Education (EMLV) · Full year 2025

🇨🇾 Nicosia 8/10

Léo

Eliott

🇰🇷 Daegu 7/10

“life is incredibly cheap, food is cheap, but living can be hard as a foreigner as it's very conservative and people don't speak any english”

Miriam

Kyungpook National University · Fall 2025

🇲🇽 Guadalajara 8/10

“don't be afraid to walk around the center and visit all the little thrift shops, coffee shops. Visit Tequila swell with a tour guide!”

Camille

ITESO · Fall 2025

🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro 9/10

“The best and fastest way to move in Rio de Janeiro was definitely the bus or the Ubers, which were cheap and safe. I wouldn't recommend the subway because there not enough stops (Approximatively 1 stop per neighbourhood outside of Ipanema and Copacabana). Concerning safety, you obviously need to be careful but it is not as dangerous as people make it seem to be. Once you understand when and where you should be more alert, I think you'll be great.”

Hilary

Universidade Federal Fluminense · Fall 2025

🇭🇰 Hong Kong 9/10

“Cheap transport, cheap meals can be found but definitely much more expensive than other asian cities. ”

Sam

University of Hong Kong · Full year 2025

🇨🇴 Bogota 9/10

“The cost of living is very low : we can eat at restaurant for 3€. There are many buses to get around, which is convenient, or else Ubers are inexpensive. Everyone talks about insecurity, but I've never felt unsafe. You just have to be careful, like anywhere else! ”

Charlotte

EAN Universidad · Spring 2025

🇪🇸 Madrid 10/10

“Live in the center! Take the students metro card for only 10€ each month.”

Sissy
