Zhuhai has no metro, so buses and the intercity railway do the work. About 145 pairs of high-speed trains run to Guangzhou daily, taking one to one and a half hours for 65 to 70 yuan in second class, arriving at Zhuhai's Gongbei station. Shuttle buses link Zhuhai Jinwan Airport to downtown and Gongbei in 50 to 90 minutes for 25 yuan. For a full semester you need an X1 student visa; anything under 180 days uses the X2. Your host university sends an admission letter plus a JW201 or JW202 form, and you take both to a Chinese embassy or visa centre back home. Xiangzhou is Zhuhai's main urban district and municipal seat, home to the seafront Lover's Road and most everyday city life. Gongbei, right on the Macau border, doubles as the city's transport hub with its railway station and border crossing. Tangjiawan, inland, holds the Sun Yat-sen and Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University campuses and their student housing. Hengqin, the newest area, is the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone: home to the University of Macau's campus under Macau jurisdiction and to the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom theme park.
