Bangalore è un'ottima base per il Sud dell'India. Mysore e il suo palazzo sono a tre ore, le colline del caffè di Coorg a circa cinque, e Nandi Hills una popolare gita all'alba di due ore. Per weekend più lunghi, le rovine di Hampi sono a un treno notturno, e le spiagge di Gokarna a un bus notturno.

I took the marketing courses but I just needed to pass 12 credits just I only had 3 classes. 1 hour per class, goes quick. But we were 50 in 60 to in the class so a lot of people.

I travelled almost all India. In night buses i did everything : Pondicherry, Kochin, Goa, Tamil Nadu. I went to Ladakh for a trek, also Mumbai, Delhi, Jaiphur, Udaipur, Mysore etcc. Buses and trains are cheap. Planes are a little bit more expensive but its okay.

safe city, goods clubs, very goods restaurants, a lot of choices, the cost of living is okay if you want to live in a nice place and go to restaurants and clubs, everything is cheaper. Bangalore is a city with a lot of people so the traffic is crazy but I took rickshaw and its amazing because its goes very fast and it super cheap.

no, i don’t recommend it, there is a curfew that starts a 10pm to 5:30 am, so can’t hangout and come back when you want. moreover, the manager is not helpful. also you can’t smoke and drink.

The only drawback of this exchange was the short semester (only 3 months).

Use the tuktuk as much as possible. It's very cheap and ideal for going out without traffic jams in clubs, feeling the vibe of the buzzing city.
What’s more, speaking English with Indian people is a good way to improve your language skills.

the positive sides: not very expensive given that all meals and laundry are also included in the price on the other hand the food is not of very good quality and the accommodation is starting to lose value, many shared accommodations are being created instead. I do not recommend accommodation next to the school, they have a really bad reputation but shared accommodation or other university accommodations are good. for my part I think that university accommodations like Sandhya PG or others are good, there are several safety rules to respect but much less than accommodations on campus and this allows you to have moments of conviviality during meals but also to rest in your room

honestly I followed my friends and trusted them, I totally forgot the names of the bars or whatever but everything is quite far from everything, it quickly takes 1 hour to go anywhere in the city (and that's normal) but the evenings are very nice, just the clubs close around 1 a.m.

I think it's quite hard to say which course to take, for the same subject there are different teachers so the courses are really different, I really advise you to take the time and talk with the people around you. The students and teachers are really very kind and are very welcoming so don't hesitate to ask the teachers for details on the course and the students for the feeling and learning. But overall you will have a lot of work but since we are exchange students we have less pressure than the others

The school was exceptional, I think however that it is becoming more and more complicated to pay in cash, but you can only pay in cash because French credit cards do not work in the establishment. But I think that I would have chosen this school anyway. It is really a chance to be able to discover India in this way, there are students who come from everywhere and many festivals are celebrated within the school grounds. It is really wonderful to be able to discover another way of thinking and doing things and the people are really very welcoming

I really recommend you go to Munnar, it's an exceptional place. Walks in the tea fields. Then I really liked Allepey (overall I recommend you go to Kerala) and if you want to surf or learn to surf go to Udupi! A little less people than in Goa so you have more freedom to do it and the atmosphere is really nice

It's quite complicated to live in this city because it takes at least 1h30 minimum to go somewhere in the city and I often find traveling very tiring because there is a lot of noise and traffic but there are really beautiful places to see and great restaurants, bars and clubs!

remember to look at what season you are going in, depending on you can have a lot of rain. and even if it can be a dangerous place apply every precaution given by people and everything will be fine, the people at the school are really very kind and you can really make good friends. enjoy life, have fun and take care of yourself! always listen to the recommendations of your friends and locals, they know the customs and surroundings better and will know how to avoid unnecessary trouble (I ended up in a slum chased by a dog because I hadn't listened to a local at one point...) so be careful and say yes to every outing, suggest and have fun!
