All the classes are easy and there is no complication

The campus has good restaurants with great food. Registration and administration is slow like in any other school

Taking the bus to Jakarta worth 10 euros and then planes to other countries like Thailand Vietnam Malaysia Japan or national trips to Bali are between 100 to 250 euros max

You have the opportunity to visiti all Indonesia (which you wont have time to) as well as the rest of Asia. For the flights you have to go to Jakarta, which isโฆ..
What kind of place was it?
Classic Apartment
How much was the rent per month?
400
Where was it located?
Dago, 5 minutes from uni
How can someone find this place?
I found it with the landlrod's number, if not, Airbnb or similar
Would you recommend it?
For me it was the best. I shared with a friend and we were 5 minutes walking from uni and we each had his own room and bathroom as well as a good kitchen and living room.
What are some top bars, clubs, or events you recommend?
Just in front of my house you have Opiuci and beer ort (this one only for beers). If you want bigger clubs go to Brotherhood Bunker or to Paskal (where you iwll find a lot)
Which classes do you recommendโฆ or not?
I would recommend international communication and conflict, gives you 10 days mid semester to travel without having to attend to other classes
Do you have some tips?
The campus is nice, but registration no. Try to do it as soon as possible and contact them whenever you need something
Best trips to do?
You have the opportunity to visiti all Indonesia (which you wont have time to) as well as the rest of Asia. For the flights you have to go to Jakarta, which is by 2:30 in shuttle
What do you absolutely need to know to live your best life in Bandung?
Cost of living is cheap. You will be using Gojek and Grab to move around, there is no public transport, but the price per ride is extremely low

My favorite club is Brotherhood Bunker, really cool music, or otherwise if you want something closer by I think Opuici. For bar I really recommend Halfway Bar,โฆ..
What kind of place was it?
Airbnb
How much was the rent per month?
Around 300โฌ/month
Where was it located?
In Dago Suites, 5min away from ITB and 10-15min away from every cool cafรฉs, restaurants, bars...
How can someone find this place?
The landlord's number, just ask at the front office or on Airbnb and then discuss the terms with the owner
Would you recommend it?
Yes, I really recommend it, most international students live in this building so you can meet a lot of people there, you also have access to a pool and a small gym.
What are some top bars, clubs, or events you recommend?
My favorite club is Brotherhood Bunker, really cool music, or otherwise if you want something closer by I think Opuici. For bar I really recommend Halfway Bar, the music is really good and they change the mood/playlist depending on the day and they also have cool band performing there sometimes. Otherwise Tambuak is nice with a lot of people and comfortable, they also have live music and the staff is really cool (and they have big watermelon filled with sangria)
Which classes do you recommendโฆ or not?
Overall, classes are really easy but not that interesting. The class I really recommend is Digital Marketing
Do you have some tips?
The campus is really big and there are a lot of sports facilities. The administration is really friendly, they give you their numbers and then you can just ask them any questions, and most of the time they will just take care of it for you. I would pick Indonesia and especially Bandung a 100% again but not for the university, more for the life and cultural experience.
Best trips to do?
There are so many trips to do from bandung, my favorite ones would be the Komodo Cruise, Lombok in general, Mount Bromo, Jungle trek in Sumatra, Karimunjawa Island.
What do you absolutely need to know to live your best life in Bandung?
It's really cheap compared to Western European countries, so you can just take a taxi scooter to go anywhere and eat at a restaurant, and order food online. People are also really friendly you can always ask them for the most local experiences!
The life there feels so safe, even as a woman, people are just really welcoming and kind in general

Dago Suite Apartment, 10 minutes walking from ITB campus Best area for exchange students, very lively and social Avoid neighborhoods too far away because of heavy traffic and lack of public transport
How can someone find this place?
https://fr.airbnb.be/rooms/767787209369778164?adults=1&children=0&infants=0&pets=0&wishlist_item_id=11003942614236&source_impression_id=p3_1753270587_P3SnjinUWceCBWCp&previous_page_section_name=1000
Would you recommend it?
Yes, highly recommended (or Beverly Dago next door)
What are some top bars, clubs, or events you recommend?
- Bier Ort, a local bar near Dago Suite on the way to campus - Braga Street, the main street for cafรฉs, bars and nightlife - Most parties are organized by exchange students themselves, not the university
Which classes do you recommendโฆ or not?
Pick courses according to your interests or plan your schedule for travel. Example: grouping classes from Monday to Wednesday.
Do you have some tips?
- Campus is nice, atmosphere is friendly and Indonesians are very welcoming. - University helps with registration and is easy to contact. - Level is good, with some homework but manageable. - Attendance is taken seriously, so better not to skip too many classes.
Best trips to do?
- On Java: Yogyakarta (train or bus from Bandung) - In Indonesia: Lombok, Komodo, Sumatra, Bali - Outside Indonesia: great chance to explore Asia if you have never been - To reach Bandung from Jakarta: bus or van from the airport is the best option
What do you absolutely need to know to live your best life in Bandung?
- Transport: Grab and Gojek (motorbikes are fastest with traffic) - Cost of living is cheap, meals for 5 euros or less - Safety is very good, locals are kind - Climate is hot and humid, rainy season from OctoberโNovember - Local food is not always the best (greasy), but dishes like Nasi Goreng are nice. European restaurants are also available.
Bandung itself has little to do, so traveling is essential.
