Santiago Exchange is a student housing and community project that makes life in Santiago easy and social. Many students from the Studcasa community have spent a semester or a full year living in one of Santiago Exchange’s casas (shared houses) or student residences, and most of them say the same thing: it’s hard not to have a good time there.

Living with other international students means meeting people fast, going out together, traveling around Chile, and sharing everyday moments like cooking or chilling at home. It feels less like “just housing” and more like real student life abroad.

Santiago Exchange offers fully furnished rooms and student residences, which helps avoid the stress of searching from abroad or dealing with unclear contracts. From the Studcasa side, what we really like is how available and helpful their team is. They answer quickly, explain things clearly, and understand what it’s like to arrive in a new country as a student.

Meet the Team

Behind Santiago Exchange is a small, dedicated team that knows exactly what exchange students need when arriving in Chile.

Yusbeyka is the Chief of Administration and Customer Service and the main person you’ll be in contact with. She’s the one answering students every day, helping with bookings, questions, and last-minute doubts. Always friendly and professional, she makes sure everything is clear and smooth before you arrive and once you’re settled. If you’re unsure about anything, she’s there for you.

Sebastián, founder of Santiago Exchange, created the project with the idea of offering international students an easier and more social way to live in Santiago. Together with Valentín, co-founder of Santiago Exchange, they built a housing and community concept that brings students from all over the world together in shared houses and residences.

The team’s goal is simple: make students feel comfortable, supported, and part of an international community from day one. With Santiago Exchange, you’re not just booking a room, you’re booking with people who care about your experience.
